This is local. Death by chocolate. Bake rich brownies, break up into a large Torte bowl, make chocolate pudding cooked only and cool as directed, and buy cool whip. Layer these in the bowl and on top of the bowl put cool whip and shave a chocolate bar with a veggie peeler and it will make everyone want to die, it's sooooo good.
also, the better than sex cake... Bake a golden cake in a glass pan and let cool. take a wooden spoon and poke holes all around the cake. cook a box of vanilla pudding and when warm pour over cake. Then take a bag of coconut and sprinkle over the pudding. Then top with cool whip. Put in the fridge and let cool for two three hrs. and serve. you can add strained crushed pineapple in the layer before the cool whip if you like. It's great too. Good luck.

East Indian Style Carrot Pudding

4 C milk
2 tablespoons long-grain rice
2 cups grated carrots, firmly packed
1/2 C sugar
3 tablespoons slivered blanched almonds
1/2 teaspoons cardamom
1/4 C heavy cream
1/3 C chopped pistachio nuts

Combine milk and rice in a large, heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the carrots and continue simmering, stirring frequently, for about 15 minutes. Add sugar and almonds and cook, still stirring, until the mixture begins to stick to the bottom of the pan, about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool to room temperature. Stir in the cardamom, cream and rosewater (if using). Chill completely before serving.

the sweet, creamy and very filling halo-halo from the Philippines!

Ingredients:
crushed ice
evaporated milk
sweetened beans (red mung beans, kidney beans, and/or garbanzos)
sweetened plaintains (saba, a kind of banana)
unflavored gelatin (usually red or green)
langka (jackfruit)
kaong (sugar palm fruit)
ube (purple yam, also known as ratalu in india)
pinipig (pounded crushed rice; rice krispies will also do)
leche flan (cream flan or custard)
macapuno (coconut sport)
nata de coco (a translucent, jelly-like coconut product with zero fat and high fiber)

procedure: "Halo"(with a short O sound) means mix. no need for measuring cups, just pour everything in a tall glass or a big bowl and mix, slurp, eat and enjoy! You can improvise; it all depends on your tastebuds. you can even add some sago or tapioca. A special type of halo-halo, however, is usually topped with your favorite ice cream. Perfect for those hot summer nights and days.

^ Ummm... tiramisu is totally ITALIAN!

I also love Affogado al Caffe (which you can find anywhere the people love coffe). Take some rich, creamy vanilla ice cream and pour a shot of espresso over it. Eat immediately.

Another good one with ice cream that I first tried in Spain was espresso ice cream with Bailey's poured over it, topped with chocolate shavings. Yummmm!

badam-ki-jali ,translated would mean'almond lace' ,marzipan rolled out & cut into fancy, lacy shapes, two sliced sandwiched together with silver foil between, the lower slice matches the upper in shape but not the lacy design.,these slices are lightly baked till the top gets the faintest change in colour, cooled before serving, keeps for several weeks .
