no, it's been proven that you'd have to swallow a trash can full of someone's spit to contract aids. although if you both have cuts in your mouths i'm not sure about that one :)

Let me try to answer this and get my first best answer on here.

The short answer to your question is: highly unlikely. I say that because HIV (the virus that causes AIDS) is spread by bodily fluids. While a small amount of the virus IS found in saliva (it has been proven to be found, but only in miniscule amounts) you would have to drink GALLONS of an infected person's saliva in order to even have a remote chance of contracting the virus. Now, if the person had an open bleeding cut or sore in their mouth, and you had one as well, and there was blood-to-blood transmission, that would carry a higher risk (theoretically) but I have never heard or seen any studies where an infection was caused by kissing.

Most medical professionals agree that kissing/making out is "low-risk" activity.

No I dont think so, i done some research and it said aids cant be caught by saliva, or kissing. But just in case I wouldnt kiss anyone with aids if I knew about it.

no it can't, unless the person with aids has an open sore and you do too. It takes 500 gallons of spit to give someone aids. I hope you know now what you wanted to know.

this tricky, the only it spread from kissing is if one of you has the virus & both of you have open wounds in or around the lips or mouth, the rate of infection from saliva is very very minimal
