i am going to go with the other answers and tell you YES it does increase the Blood pressure. What you are looking for is the ingredient-->PSUEDOEPHEDRINE. This is a sympathetic stimulator. it reacts with both the alpha and beta adrenergic receptors. So there are meds that do not have this and those are what your looking for.

A severe headache may slightly increase your blood pressure. However, if the medication is giving you severe headaches, then you need to try a different type of blood pressure medication. Yes it does. Corcideon doesn't effect bp and there's an over the counter cough syrup called Delsym which works well and doesn't raise bp.

yes if you have high blood pressure dont take it get some coricidan hbp that what my husbands Dr tells him to get for colds

anything with a decongestant can raise BP but if you have BP problems there is a cough/cold med just for people with BP probs I think its coricidin hbp
