I am not sure where you dream up that kind of information. I am working in a hospital and we provide testing of HIV if ordered by a Physician. All I have ever seen in the past 20+ years, that the ratio of positive results have increased from 1 pos. in 1000 tests to 10 in 1000 tests. Considering this is a random population and not a target population of "high risk".
But with misinformation like yours you are actively helping to demote real info and proactive handling that problem.
I do have to admit that we see HIV infections now in populations that where in the past considered " save". But as long we have the attitude that "I can not have it" and being in denial it will spread even more. The best prevention is getting tested on a regular base, save sex, no needle sharing, and info, info, info about this. IT CAN EFFECT YOU AS WELL.

Well first of all I would ask where you pulling up this information.?I would think maybe 1% have an HIV positive rate in the US. Africa has a major problem because their society is a lot different, lots of young marriages and rape are very high, which makes it really bad for all people on that continent, including the children orphaned there. Plus they dont' eat well and are prone to just about any disease that hits that continent. This isn't like small pox, its a social disease and none of them have ever been eradicated totally.
go to Center for Disease Control at http://www.cdc.gov/scientific.htm to find more information on percentages of all diseases in this country and the world

AIDS is a deliberate imposition on developing countries by the West through their various "humanitarian" activities, especially vaccines, all in an attempt to exterminate the former. From this context, it would be wonderful that a boomerang effect has caught up with the US to that extent. What you sow you reap.

Perhaps you wish this were true; but it is not. If you feel this is true, I would challenge you to cite your source of facts; "I read it on the internet" is NOT a valid citation.

I believe the Americans (those serving the US Navy) living in Singapore have HIV.

Well, that's what I heard. It could be true.
