I totally forgot today was Thanksgiving! I'm currently on a business trip and had to drive about 500 miles today to get ready for an appointment tomorrow. That's not the bad part, that's just a 'typical' day. The bad part was that I just made one stop for gas and didn't start looking for 'eats' until I got to 'here' (medium sized town); all that's open are the in-convenience stores. My t-day meal was Lay's and Frito's, the *only* veggie friendly food around here (Wally world is open but no grocery section here).

Hmm; I suppose a 'fast' for T-day is wryly apropos for a veghead.

We had a great time. Just as it should be, family and friends showed up. The turkey was the best it has been in a few years, and the pie was first rate.

Just another day to be thankful for.

This thanksgiving was actually pretty good. I was so busy these last few years, but this time I got a chance to still with the family for a whole day! We ate, laughed, and watched movies under one roof, which is unusual for us.

Thanks for asking..
I had to work cuz I could use the overtime.
A friend cooked so I had some dinner at her house. I realize that I have become more of a vegan.. I felt sick the next day after eating mac and cheese she made (by the way it was de-lish!) but I just can't stomach and type of dairy anymore...

So no more dairy for me...

it was okay. when the rest of my family found out i was becoming a vegetrian they just lauphed at me and made rude coments about vegetrians/vegens. but besides that it was great. i got to see some of my famlily i don't normally get to see and i ate them sweet potatoes like i've never ate them before!

It is always great to be with the family but it is really gross to watch people pull parts off a carcass.

It was nice. Had some family and friends over. Some kids made it a little hectic and crazy, but all in all it was fun.

Thanks for asking.... How was yours?
