I have gential herpies, You are able to pass them to your husband right before, during and a week after an outbreak. They have meds on the market which can help with the outbreaks and with the time of an outbreak. Herpies can make you feel like you are dirty and worthless. The only way to make sure that you have not passed it is to make him wear a condom or just do not have sex not even oral! My husband and I have sex, but he always wears a condom and if we do not have any, we do not have sex until the next night.
My herpies came to me about 4 weeks ago. I have a sore near my urine opening. I went to the doctor and that is when I found out, I thought he cheated on me and to come and find out my a blood test, I have had this for atleast 2 years and it just surfaced. So my husband has not cheated on me, but might be infected, we are wanting for that blood test to come back. If he is then we will deal with it.
You just have to be careful with him. I would advise you if you al ready have not too tell your husband that you have it, then you two can work on this together.
Good Luck

Genital herpes cannot be cured. However, treatment can relieve the symptoms. Medication can rapidly decrease the pain and discomfort associated with an outbreak and can shorten healing time as well. Genital Herpes can be passed on to your husband at any time. Condoms remain the best protection against acquiring genital herpes when sexually active. CORRECT and CONSISTENT use of a condom will help prevent the transmission of the disease.

Most definately. That is why if you even remotely think you might be in an active stage you MUST use a condom. Since you think you passed it on to him you need to make a doc appointment for him so he can get tested. In the mean time do a web search for genital herpes and read up on it since you seem to not be well informed about it.

Only if you had it before he did. If he had it before you did, he gave it to you unless of course you both been doing what you probably ought not be doing.
