Genital Herpes is the result of a virus. There is no medication that can kill a virus in the human host without harming the host. The common cold, among others, is a virus and of course there is no cure for the common cold. Treatment is available for herpes as well as other viruses, but no cure. That is exactly why no one wants to acquire any virus. Some viruses run their course and the body can manage them-like the common cold but herpes is more difficult for the body to manage. It may be contained and controlled at times but it remains forever in the body. When the immune system is compromised by something as simple as stress or the Flu, the herpes virus will take advantage of that and recur. Prevention is the key. Don't acquire it in the first place.

I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about seven years ago, when I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. I know loads of girls will declare this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/3uPzZ everything changed.

Not only was I able to eliminate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This program gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.

Genital herpes cannot be cured. Once infected, the virus stays in the body for the rest of the individual's life
Research suggests that the virus can be transmitted even when there are no symptoms present, so that a sexual partner without obvious genital herpes sores may still transmit the illness. In fact, asymptomatic spread may actually contribute more to the spread of genital herpes than do active sores.
Please see the web pages for more details on Herpes simplex virus.

There is no cure. However, it may lay dormant in your body forever and not flair up ever. I think it depends how strong or weak your immune system is. If you get sick a lot, chances are you'll have more flair ups than someone who stays healthy and takes care of themselves.

No, this is a virus and can not be cured, but their are drugs on the market that can slow or even help stop the outbreaks, but you will always have the virus, when you have sex use a condom

unfortunately, there is no cure. but it's not the end of your life if you have it. i know a lot of people who have it and who have healthy happy relationships. there are worse things in life.
even though there is no cure, there is medicine to control it, ways to keep it managable.

From all I read NO. It goes into remission. But if it is active YOU ARE CONTAGIOUS.

Oral sex with someone with genital herpes will give them the WARTS IN THEIR MOUTH.

YUCK YUCK AND YUCK. I read this recently and learned more than I ever wanted to know.
