HIV enters the body via mucus membranes cuts, sores and injections
I'll just stick to the method of transmission via sexual contact since this is the area that concerns yourself
you can become infected if you have had sexual contact with an INFECTED person, so you must now ask yourself, before you start working yourself up into a panic, why is it that you think you may have, or whomever you're writing the question for, been exposed to HIV?
The probability of you being infected from HIV from a few seconds of oral sex is extremely low, but having said that, you cannot rule out that possibility.
If you want me to email you some facts I will, I did a lot of research on this a couple of years ago
I don't want you working yourself up into a frenzy, but the best way to rule it out is to be tested. Test yourself now and then again in 13 (sorry said 12 before, it's 13) weeks time(as it may take up to 13 weeks for HIV antidbodies to show up)
and obviously, practise safer sex, there is no such thing as safe sex
If you live in the UK?
most heterosexuals that have HIV (heterosexual sexual contact), were infected abroad...only a very small percentage were infected within the UK. (assuming you're a heterosexual lady? and you live in the UK)
go easy on yourself and if you're really that worried, as I said, the only way you will know for sure is to be tested but unless you knew you were at risk from a known person with HIV, then I would have to say the chances are VERY low!

Oral sex is very low risk in contracting hiv, but there still are risks. If you have an open wound in your mouth then the risks are higher. Most important thing to remember is to not bush or floss your teeth a few hours before, and you might even want to consider using flavor condoms. Best thing is to know who you are having sex with and if they are clean, be safe :)

Yes, but it's a low probability infection. HIV isn't easy to catch, compared to most STD's, but oral sex is a possibility from oral sex, even from a short exposure.
Open sores and high viral load would increase the probability of infection.

It would be unlikely, but not impossible. Ergo the need for safety precautions, i.e. condoms.
