If you aren't, are you eating a tofurky?

This is my first holiday season as a vegan--became a vegan around New Year's.--so I just made my first tofurky. Was going to a family dinner but felt ill and went to bed, and so instead of making and bringing my own food, I made and just ate.

It was quite good, actually. I very much like the taste of the gravy. I "invented" a really good gravy using onions and mushrooms among other things, ten months ago in my quest for improving how to cook for myself, but I actually like theirs better.

And one turkey didn't have to die because of me. I like that.

Nope, i'm going to be eating Ham. i'm not vast on turkey except its in a sandwhich, i'm going to consume it as quickly as in awhile yet on condition that i exchange right into a newborn my grandmother made me a ham plus a turkey so 0.5 the family members ate ham and the different 0.5 ate turkey. For the final 8 years i've got been going to my husband's mum and dad living house (even earlier all of us started relationship) and my companion's mom began cooking a ham and a turkey just to make me happy and it seems i'm not the sole individual who prefers ham, my sister-in-regulation's husband and their sons like it, and so does my husband's cousin Deryck and my own sons. As for facets my favorites are potatoes and stuffing

I made my own UnTurkey, as Now & Zen went out of business -
Make your own seitan out of gluten flour (recipies abound on the internet), roll it out and wrap around your favorite stuffing, place in a cheesecloth and boil for about an hour. Let this cool, then wrap in hydrated yuba sheets, bake for 1 to 1.5 hours (depending on size), covered until the last 20 min, basting a few times during this process.
