Well I found out I had type 2 diabetes after I was frequently going to the bathroom, my mouth was always dry, I was sleepy all the time, irritable, and dropping weight like crazy. It had gotten to the point that everything I drank ran right through me, it is quite dangerous not knowing you should go to the doctor asap! I don't know where you live but my son's school tested him.

Could you have your Parents take you to a Doctor, they would do a test for Diabetes, by pricking your finger and putting a small drop of blood to be read, by a tester, that would tell how high your blood sugar is, and if you do or do not have Diabetes. It is not painful, the prick is no more than if you accidentally get stuck with a needle. That should reliever you mind, and you will get instructions what you need to do if you do have it. Have a happy Thanksgiving.

The most common test is to fast for 12 hours, having only water during that time. Then a blood test is taken, and there are glucose levels that are measured. Here are the stats for a fasting blood test:
Blood glucose Fasting blood glucose:
70–99 milligrams per deciliter or less than 5.5 mmol/L
It's best to see a physician to have the test done. Good luck.

That's a different type of Diabetes associated with lack of hormones. I have the disease and it's called Insipidus Diabetes. I injured my pitutary gland and that's why I got the blurred vision so you may want to check with a Neurologist first and tell him your symptons. I injured myself and hit my head and that's how they found that my gland was damaged. Now after it was removed I have to take injections for hormones daily as your body needs them. Now I see an Endocrinolgoist for the Diabetes and she monitors it all the time. This is a very rare disease. Hope this helps you.

You won't really know until you're tested by a doctor, but your symptoms could very well be diabetes. Excessive thirst, frequent urination, blurred vision, unexplained weight loss and fatigue are all symptoms of diabetes. The symptoms you list could very well be something else, but the best advice is to get to a doctor.

There is an easy and obvious way to learn whether or not you have type 1 diabetes which is to have your fasting glucose (blood sugar) measured. If you know someone who is a diabetic they are likely to let you use their glucometer. Otherwise you should ask a physician to determine your glucose. A fasting glucose over 120 or so requires additional evaluation and follow-up. I hope that your glucose is found to be normal.

It sounds like you can. Frequent urination is also a sign. Go to Walmart and purchase an Accuchec bloodsugar tester. It's about $22.00. You can test your sugar levels. Ask mom or dad for the money if you need it. Or go to your doctor. Don't mess with diabetes. Take it seriously because if you don't care for it, it causes future problems, eye, kidney, heart gangreane problems. I have type 1 and have seen my dad have major problems because he didn't take care of it. Please take care of yourself and check it and make sure your levels are regulated. Good luckl.
