OK, I am quite aware that a person can get chlamydia in his or her throat from giving oral sex to a man infected with chlamydia.

What I would like to know is, it possible for someone who has chlamydia in his or her throat to give it to the person on whom he or she gives oral sex?

I am looking for a reliable reference on the net that has the answer to this question, like the CDC. I'm not really interested in answers that aren't backed up by legitimate sources, sorry.

There are lots of websites that say "Chlamydia can be transmitted by oral sex." I know this already. Most of the time, the person doing the sucking is going to be infected by the person he's sucking. What I want to know, from a reliable source, is if the person doing the sucking can give it to the person being sucked. In graphic terms. OK?

Chlamydia is not a virus. It doesn't live in the blood. It's a bacteria. Cuts and abrasions aren't involved in the transmission of chlamydia, as far as I know.

No offense, but no one has really answered my question. I hope it's clear now, but I'll restate one more time.

I am looking for a trustworthy reference on the web that states SPECIFICALLY that it is possible to transmit chlamydia from the person doing the sucking to the person getting sucked. (The other way around is well-established.)

Contrary to popular belief, oral sex is not a completely safe alternative to vaginal or anal sex. Chlamydia, human papillomavirus (HPV), gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis (multiple strains), and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) — including HIV — can be transmitted through oral sex.[14]. However transmission of HIV through fellatio or cunnilingus is relatively rare. Any kind of direct contact with body fluids of a person infected with HIV (the virus that causes AIDS) should be avoided. In 2005, a research study at the College of Malmö in Sweden suggested that performing unprotected oral sex on a person infected with HPV might increase the risk of oral cancer .[15] The risk from most of these types of infection, however, is generally considered far lower than that associated with vaginal or anal sex. Furthermore, oral sex should be avoided when either partner has wounds or open sores on the genitals or mouth, or bleeding gums in the mouth, or has recently brushed, flossed, undergone dental work, or eaten crunchy foods such as potato chips, all of which can cause small scratches in the lining of the mouth. These wounds, even when they are microscopic, increase the chances of contracting STDs that can be transmitted orally under these conditions. Such contact can also lead to more mundane infections from common bacteria and viruses found in, around and secreted from the genital regions. Because of this, many medical professionals advise the use of condoms in the performance of fellatio (flavoured condoms are available for this purpose) and the use of plastic or latex sheets (dental dams or ordinary plastic wrap) for cunnilingus, although the latter has failed to achieve the same level of widespread use as condoms.

Yes because if you have cuts or abrasions in your mouth you can transmit the infection to a man if a woman is giving oral sex because the fluid such as blood can be transmitted to a man if he's got cuts or abrasions on his penis and they're fresh or newly healed. The problem is that Chlamydia is dubbed the silent disease because of the fact that it shows no symptoms until that person(s) are diagnosed by a doctor.

Chlamydia can be transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Chlamydia can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during vaginal childbirth.

Any sexually active person can be infected with chlamydia. The greater the number of sex partners, the greater the risk of infection. Because the cervix (opening to the uterus) of teenage girls and young women is not fully matured, they are at particularly high risk for infection if sexually active. Since chlamydia can be transmitted by oral or anal sex, men who have sex with men are also at risk for chlamydial infection.

If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://bitly.im/aOfEr Since you've never dated or been kissed before, it's going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don't know what to do but once you know what to do, you'll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You'll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.
