Dieting is not the only way..infact, dieting is no practical way to keep yourself slim.Unless you are trying to be a model or an actress. The best way to maintain a good weight is to combine a proper meal plan with some physical exercises. The problem with dieting is that after two or three days, you start to get frustrated when you are eating less, and you may indulge in over eating when you break your promise of dieting.Dieting is like punishing your own body. Your body needs some physical activity and proper nutrition at right times than hunger

No, there are lots of ways to stay slim. Go buy yourself a pedometer and try to work up to 12,000 steps a day. Start by seeing just how many steps you actually take in a day, you will be surprised. When my husband and I went to Europe I brought my pedometer and walked over 12,000 steps a day and was able to eat those wonderful french pastries and still maintain my weight. I also weight myself every day. That way if I have gained any weight I make sure that I cut down on my calories for that day or add more activity. I also enjoy music so I just turn on the radio or stereo and dance. The most important thing is to find the things that YOU enjoy doing that will keep you active so you day isn't spent sitting around.

dieting is temporary as will be the weight-loss. gotta find "diet" foods that you can enjoy permanently then try some regular excercise. if you do nothing now how realistically can you adhere to a complete life-style change and for how long?
