It comes in squares, individually wrapped. It is foreign, I am not sure from what country.....possibly spain or Iran or somewhere.
It is white, crispy with halves of peanuts in it............I am really trying to figure out what it is called?

is it turkish delight that you're think of? the name is actually a misnomer, since you can also get it in different european and middle-eastern countries. it generally comes in squares, sprinkled in icing sugar, flavoured with rose or citrus water and has a bit from a pistichio or a walnut in it.

or it could be mastih, mastiha, mastich, mastik...spelling differs depending on which country you get it from...ranging from european to middle-eastern countries. masticha tends to be white and usually chewy if it's fresh, but i have seen/tasted harder versions (i just thought they weren't fresh...not sure if they were supposed to be hard). it's made from resin of the mastic tree/bush.

or it could be nougat, which is usually white or brown and has different nuts or candied fruit in it. the brown nougat tends to be sweeter but both are fluffy and chewy (like in a mars, three muskateers or snickers bar). it's made from corn syrup or caremelized sugar mixed with egg whites. very common in europe, particulary spain and france.

could it be chocolate bark? it can be white, milk or dark, depending on the chocolate you use.

I think what you mean in NOGAT. Sometimes it is a little bit chewe also. It is made in the Arab countries a lot not only with peanuts but also other nuts.
