A friend and I have a disagreement he believes the clap is both Gonerea and Chlamydia. I told him that term only refers to chlamydia. Thanks for the help

The clap is an old term that referred to Gonorrhea.

Clap, common term in the sixties, refers to gonorrhea. A recent version of the dictionary has this term. Sorry, chlamydia is not what is was used to refer to at all.
