♡I live in Japan (I'm American) and have enjoyed horse sashimi, bear sashimi, alligator, turtle~'suppon', (←turtle,I didn't care for too much), shark, whale...just to name a few. (*^o^*) I try everything!
I just really didn't care for the turtle soup, the others were all good!(^_-)-☆
~Squid, octopus, blow fish and so on are also things I've eaten, but they're not so unusual FOR ME, living in Japan.
BTW, just curious~WHERE are you that you have eaten such a large variety of 'alternate meats'??\(^∇^)/♡
EDIT~Ahhh, OK the UK. I see. Thanks! ^_^

Bison and frog's legs (not together). Do they count as "alternate"? Not sure that any of the items in your list are particularly weird!

Shark - thought it was like a very salty pork.

Snake, snail. Possibly cat, but not knowingly.
I'm an omnivore, so I don't get hang-ups.
