I love Thai food. It is vaguely similar to Chinese, but really is its own taste and flavor, with an emphasis on freshness. I have no Thai recipes for you, but I do recommend the Thai Taste restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina if you're ever that way.

Thai food is delicious and light, i find it less oily than Chinese food.
My favorite recipe is steaming veggies then in a separate pan cook off some garlic in oil then add some coriander and a small amount of light soy sauce and a a table spoon of Hoisin sauce. Once the veggies are ready toss quickly in the sauce and serve with steamed/boiled rice.

Thai food is usually very spicy with an Indian influence. It is very good, but an acquired taste. Go to foodnetwork.com for recipes.

It's really great! Try Larb, or Pad Thai! Make sure you buy some good fish sauce as it is key to most of the cooking.
