The chances of you having lung cancer at your age are remote. Family history can be a factor though. There are many conditions that can cause pain in the chest or lungs. I was a 35+ yr smoker of 2+ packs a day. I too was experencing some pain and tightness in the chest. After being scoped by a lung specialist, my condition was caused from bronchial asthma with a raging lung infection. Try not to be too concerned, just go see your lung specialist and try to reduce or quit smoking. It really did help.
God luck and Peace to you.

Lung cancer can hit at any age. I suggest that you try to stop smoking with the help of patches and hopefully the specialist will nip whatever is wrong in the bud.
It may be some other lung disorder but smoking will not help and will hinder. Smoking never helps with the health.

If you smoke at all you should EXPECT lung cancer.
Just stop smoking, help yourself.
Drink lots of water with lemon juice and stop drinking and smoking.
Honesly if you smoke there is no way around cancer. Some people are really lucky and don't seem to get it...but do you want to risk your entire life ahead of you because you feel lucky?
Please stop smoking.

Lung cancer is a possibiilty at any age for a smoker and the chances only get higher the longer you smoke. It could also be either Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or emphysema, both are common diseases caused by smoking and are mostly likely the cause of the pain.

Even if you don't have it now, you are on pace to get it sometime. Keep smoking and you'll eventually get lung cancer. Don't worry!

Lung cancer can strike at any age. Since you have a fairly long history smoking, I suggest you get you're lungs checked and screened for lung cancer.
And please stop smoking right away.
