The solution always begins with a diagnosis and in your case there are a number of possibilities. To dry nasal secretions consider an anti histamine such as loratadine (Claritin). This runs the risk of causing the secretions to be too thick would could lead to a sinus infection. Indeed - you may have a sinus infection in which case you will require a quinolone antibiotic. The most effective treatment for drainage in the absence of an infection is a prescription corticosteroid nasal spray.

Clean out your sinuses using saline, either from the store or you can make your own using salt, baking soda and water.Get a big syringe turn your head to the side over the sink, push the mixture up in your nose, both nostrils. Then blow. Works great!

Sometimes it's more effecient to actually take a wire brush and gently bore out the outer derma in your nose passages, thereby giving the nostrils a rifling effect so the mucous comes out with greater muzzle velocity with the spin that is introduced.

well, you can take antihistamines such as benadryl or promethazine (prescription) but i think a more prudent solution would be some type of surgery if this continues to be a problem.
