If most people die of heart attacks, and omega-3 in fish make one live longer, do fishermen not killed from trauma live longer than the average person? I am assuming they eat a lot of fish.

Don't assume!!

Hm that doesn't really make much sense imo.
Although, fishermen are probably healthier than most in regards to physical fitness so they have less chance of a heart attack that way.

You can't really compare random people health or nutrition wise though, but my assumption about their eating habits would be that they are around fish so much that they don't really enjoy/want to be eating it often.

i doubt it. sure omega-3s are good for you, but a diet rich in them might increase the life expectancy of a person by a few months, maybe a year or two but not years and years. and professional fishermen tend to be rough characters, and rough characters tend to have bad habits like drinking and smoking and just dont take care of themselves very well which im sure offsets eating a lot of fish

Well, if all fishermen only eat fish. Then the beef seller only eat beef, the mutton seller eat only mutton and so on. This do not sound right. true?

Yes they have longer poles and know how to use them, therefore have great stamina and a well planned out exercise routine.

Comercial fishing is the most dangerous occupation so I would think not.

Maybe, but that could also be because they use fishing as a stress reliever.
