does the mentos and diet coke thing work and did anyone actually try it?

I love Mythbusters! Its one of my favorite shows!

Yes, the diet coke mentos thing really does work. My cousins and I tried it over the summer and we got a decent sized geyser. It was freakin awesome.

Just don't drink diet coke then eat mentos, you'll be throwing up all over the place.

yeah it totally works. i was on david letterman and i tried it myself. it went up like two feet because i used more mentos and more diet coke. try it. it's so cool.
