You can put anything in them. I like all your examples except for ham & cheese which doesn't stick together that well, but who cares!

What Are Finger Sandwiches

Finger sandwiches are small sandwiches. Usually you make a sandwich and then cut it in 4. They also have dinner rolls that you can...they would be great if you make egg salad or any of those "salads". The reason they do this is so people don't eat a whole sandwich. My church has finger sandwiches after church is over. This way you put one of those small sandwiches on your plate and maybe a pickle and some carrots and celery. You don't need to eat a whole meal.

Finger sandwiches are just regular sandwiches cut really small- cut into eight.

In Britain we call hot dog buns finger rolls- so cut across and served as a regular sandwich this is also a type of finger sandwich sometimes seen in buffets.

I'd skip the sandwiches, and have lighter nibbles, like veggies and dip, hummus and pita or some quality cheeses and good crackers if you're going out to dinner. If you do go with finger sandwiches, you can make (or buy at the deli) your favorite tuna, chicken, shrimp or ham salads. If you're making them in advance, lightly butter the bread first so it won't get soggy. Remove the crust from the bread, and cut into "fingers". Or even better, get small bell shaped cookie cutters for a "wedding bell" theme. Cream cheese mixed with herbs or chopped green olives is another common filling. Another idea; mini quiches can be found at Costco, and once you bake them off, they can be served at room temp.

Hey, I like your style. You already know that it's not fingers, cool.

Finger sandwiches are small bite sized sandwiches, without crust in most cases, but it doesn't have to be that way.

You can make a variety, PB&J, tuna salad, ham, watercress, hard boiled egg, ham salad, cheese. Anything that you can think of to make a sandwich for yourself, just make it smaller and display them on a platter for your guests. They'll love it.

Just what you said except you cut the crust off the bread and cut the sandwich in 4's. Or use those bake and serve dinner rolls. Now those make great finger sandwiches.

Finger sandwiches are just sandwiches, just cut up into small 2-3 bite portions, you can fill them with whatever you want to.

They're nice if you cut off the crust from a slice of bread put butter and a filling on(any of those you mentioned are fine!) and then roll it(the piece of bread) up tight. It should be like a little tube then cut it into shorter tubes and put coctail sticks through them to make them easy to eat.
This is a good way to get children to eat sandwiches too because they look so interesting.
I hope this makes sense cos it's easier to show you!

finger sandwich is a rectangle shape sandwich(2-3 x 8-10 cm) without crust. usually finger sandwiches are for quick and easy bite food. to make it posh, try it with smoked salmon with cream cheese, creamy chicken caesar, roasted pink thin beef with horseradish and rocket salad. try to put filling which is creamy, flat and not dry so it is not falling apart on serving dish or pick it up as it is very small piece of sandwich.

OK, how about Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches. You make them just as you would a grilled cheese, then for some added sweetness sprinkle them with powdered sugar. Hope this helps! Also, do you have the recipe for stuffed strawberry's, it sounds great.
