only the boy knows the what is causing it. I suggest him analyzing his own dreams, since dreams occur in order for the mind to solve problems in life while we sleep. Once he targets a problem(s). He can work on possible solutions or seek advice more taylored to the specific problem. Also it's kinda out there but meditation is a great way to extract answers that are allready in our heads (actually our subconciouses). I strongly recomend AGAINST medication, as druging a problem never actually fixes it.

Being that young, the boy's heart should be agile enough to adapt to the social issues. I'm not sure of the race but young, black males are susceptible to hypertension more so than any other race. I would definately advise the boy to seek medical attention and a referral to a cardiologist. This could be very serious.

I had hypertension by about 24 still got 7 years later. I am not overweight or anything like that. It is just something I have. I take meds every day. Monitor it on daily basis for two weeks and then go see a Doctor

I am a female who was diagnosed with high blood pressure when I was 19 years old my life at that times wasn't stressful, I was living in a happy stable home with loving family so I questioned my doctor and was told that most often hypertention was caused from genetics. I had a strong family history on my mothers side of the family. Is there anyone else in your family who has the condition? My advice to you would be to see your doctor, cut back on your intake of salt and sodium, and take yourmedication as directed

My Dad was diagnosed with high blood pressure at the age of 20. He died at 58. So did his Mom, and four of his siblings. I have low blood pressure- like my Mom.
Stop smoking,".... was the first thing the doctor told my Dad when he was 20. He smoked a lot- I guess.... but hypertension is definitely in the family."

Do his parents have hypertension or is he overweight? My dad started having hypertension younger than that and he weighed under 150 lbs. A lot of times it is hereditary. My teenage daughter's BP runs a little high already.

I think it could run in his family or he has been subjected to suppressed stress or dealt with some deep seated problem. Why do some babies develop cancer? Sometimes there is no specific reason we know of it just happens.
