depending on how your service is, and how busy the restaurant is, you could make anywhere from $20 to $200 per night, before tipout to the other staff, which is a set percentage of your sales. My daughter works at Boston Pizza, during lunch shifts she generally brings home about $50 and on night shifts she generally brings home around $100 after a tipout of 4% of sales.

Well the Cheesecake factory is quite expensive so you should be able to count on bigger tips.

Minimum wage X Number of hours worked?

Take gross X 6.2= A (social security -that you'll never see...)
Take gross X 1.45 =B (medicare)
With holding =C...............irs.gov probably has a table
State/Local Taxes=D

Now take Gross income _______
Less A+B+C+D _______
Equals Net Check _______ (take home)

Tell 'em I'll work for Cheesecake.
