Here's how mine is stacked:
Whole wheat bun
mustard
sliced tomatoes
caramelized onions
caramelized mushrooms
Sharp cheddar cheese
Grilled gardenburger
Whole wheat bun

I love this combination! Any other ideas and suggestions?
Plus I eat it with pickles, pepperoncini, and some raw veggies and dip. Today I ate it with tofu fries! I love gardenburgers!

Aimes,
I found the recipe for tofu fries in a cook book. I made them according to the directions, but unfortunately I didn't think they were very good. I'll try it my way next time.

The recipe says to take tofu and drain out the water with paper towels, then to cut it into fry shapes (long thin blocks). Then you place it on parchment paper, sprinkle w/salt and pepper (or any seasoning that you like), and broil it for about 25 min. Next time I will turn them around in the oven so all sides are crispy. The bottom sides were kind of chewy. Try it and good luck! Also, remember to have some good dip on hand for the fries. I used bbq sauce.

I like to put Lawry's seasoning on it and cook it in a pan with some olive oil or nonstick spray.

I know Lawry's has alot of salt, but I am not a complete health consious person, I pretty much eat all sorts of different things.

I am usually in a hurry whenever I am eating one. I put it in the microwave for 1 minute. Then I put it in the toaster oven or skillet and brown it until the outside is crisp. I love it with Mayo, ketchup, lettuce and tomato.

I haven't had tofu fries, where do I get them and how do you cook them?
