The food here in Australia is multicultural but some favourite australian food is the humble meat pie, sausage roll, pavlova and lamingtons. They are all great but my favourite would have to be the lamington.
Its a little vanilla sponge cake covered with chocolate sauce and coconut....*drool*

Cashew Chicken was invented here..
Cashew chicken was first served (i.e. invented) in 1963 at Leong's Tea House in Springfield, Missouri. Owner David Leong, who moved to the United States from China in 1940, struggled to gain acceptance for the foods of his homeland so he began searching for a dish that would appease local residents' taste buds. The dish is exceedingly popular in the Springfield area and is often cited as the unofficial "dish of the city".

When I was a kid nothing beat a cheeseburger, fried on a greasy grill, dripping with a 1000 island sauce and stacked with tomato, lettuce and onion. Add a plate of thick sliced french fries, with the skin on, and you have yourself THE lunch. I was born and raised on the beach in Southern California and I have to say that burgers and tacos were more like food groups than menu items.

Mmmm, Louisiana food. Meat pies, jambalaya, gumbo, crawfish, fried catfish, poboys, etouffee, pretty much any kind of fried seafood (alligator included, yum!)...the wonderful list goes on. I actually am not a fan of crawfish...too much work for too little meat that doesn't really taste all that great anyway. But everything else, totally. It's the best.

i like seafood a lot. can not get sufficient of it it really is so scrumptious. I hate pineapple. It tastes undesirable and it burns my tongue like Kiwi Fruit. sure i'm extraordinary i understand, yet I even ought to adhere my tongue in milk when I've eaten it, it hurts a lot. fortunately I hate the flavor to boot so i'm no longer lacking out on something.

in Romania we have force-meat rolls in cabbage or in vine leaves, maize, grilled minced meat rolls, bortsch, beans with smoky bones. I mostly like force-meat rolls in cabbage or in vine leaves associated with maize and cream. these are the traditional dishes. however, there are many many different dishes, which are specific, but have ethnical influences, like guyas and bograch (hungarian dishes).

in India the cuisine in different states is very different. however in my state Gujarat our staple diet consists of dal (lentils with gravy), any green vegetables, roti (wheat bread) and plain rice. accompanied by a tall glass of buttermilk.
although i love mexican and italian cuisines and love different kinds of foods i always prefer to have gujarati food for lunch and dont mind experimenting with different foods for dinner
