My understanding of the vegan diet was that a person didn't eat anything from an animal, thus eliminating eggs altogether. I may be wrong in my understanding of vegans though, I don't know any. I only know normal people.

If someone did that, they would not be vegan. The egg white is still an animal product.
Just to clear a misconception up, an unfertilized egg is not nor will it ever be an "unborn" chicken.

No, but did you know the egg white is the unborn chicken, and the egg yolk is what the chick eats before it hatches?. I found that interesting.

i be attentive to, that is often perplexed me too. "Supposedly" they might have egg yolks beginning at around 8-10 months, and then whites after a 12 months. I purely boiled the eggs, and gave her the the yolk....and generally the whites to boot. Scrambled eggs are additionally elementary to %. up. regrettably, my daughter does not look to love eggs, and she or he's nineteen months previous, yet they're a rapid, elementary, and nutritious breakfast...

There are people who are vegetarian for purely dietary reasons who would add egg white to their diets for protein or texture preference. For animal rights or environmental reasons, egg whites are just as bad as the whole egg.
