If you have a weight problem, getting rid of the excess pounds will make life easier. Cinnamon will make your weight drop some as it breaks down insulin resistance. Cut the sugar and the flour and the weight will slide more as well as your triglyceride level. Add fiber to your diet and it will speed the process up.

The biggest culprits for pushing up the triglycerides are all the sugars and refined flours in our diets. If you cut the refined foods, your levels will drop.

High triglycerides is one of the four tyes of hereditary hyperlipemias. A diet low in fat is the only recommendation I have.

Can you provide us with more information about your life style?
- Are you smoking?
Try to quit. There are many methods that you can follow.
- Are you walking daily?
Try to walk at least 1 hour daily.
- Do you eat a lot of cheese daily?
It is known that cheese can increase the level of triglycerides.

No more fried foods. If you cook something, dont use oil, use butter. No margerine either, cuz its oil. Eat more veges, raw and cooked. Slow down on the junk foods , and chips, snacks, that sort of thing. Try not to eat too much red meat. More chicken and pork.

My doctor told me to quit drinking. So much for that idea!
