first - when you find out the correct answer let me know (because I AM CANADIAN)

personally i enjoy hamburgers hotdogs and good old mom's apple pie just like the next guy. Steaks, chicken wings pizzas rank up there as well.

Bacon? Canadian Bacon? what the hell? Back bacon aka peameal is what it is. Personally yes I like both (of course! it is food)

there is a difference between Quebec cuisine and the rest of the nation? Don't know about that - been to Quebec and ate at McDonalds eating Hamburgers hmmmm. They Hotdogs there too. Poutine is now across the board you can get that from coast to coast but it'll kill ya.

My final thought for this is ..... GET REAL! jump across the boarder and see for yourself we are no different than you - just nicer and less weapons

Not an easy question because, first you have Québec (aka French Canada) and then English Canada, which is whatever is left. Basically though, Hot dogs and hamburgers rule, just like south of the border. Québec is also known for a sort of fast food called "poutine" which is a bowl of french fries covered with meat sauce and on top of which you have a layer of granulated cheese.

Canada is so regionally, geographically and ethnically diverse that it's very hard to come up with common ones. Out east it is lobster, in Quebec, tortiere and poutine, on the Prairies - hearty European cuisine like German and Ukrainian specialties, on the West coast - salmon. You can get absolutely anything from perogies to borscht to bannock and Saskatoon berry pie, real maple syrup, bismarks, old world cooking, and down home cooking. It's lovely to be in Canada to just eat.

Poutine...AKA Gravy Fries with cheese. I've only tried this once and take my word for it...Unless you want a serious case of nausea with possible vomitting...Stay away from it.
I think I'll ask the following question of anyone who has eaten this stuff on a regular basis. How many heart attacks and/or by-pass operations have you had?

Mari times persons have lobster, scallops, seal flipper stew, cod fish and other fish delicacies.
Westerners love their beef, Easterner's tend to go more for the pork dishes
