I don't get much time for breakfast (although I should make time), however if I did I would preferably go for...

Fresh Coffee...Scrambled egg on an english muffin with a slice of crispy but not over-cooked bacon on top. Little bit of heinz ketchup on the side to top it off.

Its by faaaar my favourite breakfast and well and truly sets me up for the day.

Set up your blender the night before.

In the morning add a cup of yogurt, a handful of fresh or frozen fruit and a handful of ice, blend well, pour into a cup and you are out the door with your first serving of milk/calcium and fruit for the day.

Grab a bottle of water and some fresh or dried fruit on your way out the door and you'll be ready for a quick pick-me-up snack mid-morning.

I usually start the day with a Coffee, instant or perc, depending on how I feel.

At times, I may indulge and have a poached egg with toast, scrambled egg & toast, or even bacon & eggs. I'm so fickle at times I often just settle for a Coffee.

Then again poached salmon with poached eggs or scrambled and a nicely chilled Chardonay or Bubbles, fresh orange juice & perc Coffee. Beauty Corker.

I usually have wholemeal bread sandwich with peanut butter and grape jelly. I have some extra time, so I have milk with half tablespoon oats in it. Keeps your stomach full. You will notice that you dont overeat rest of the meals to compensate.
HAVE a good healthy breakfast, you have the whole day to work it off with just daily activities. Dont feel guilty of eating well at this meal.
Its better you eat at breakfast than have something light 'on-the-go' and binge on lunch, snacks and dinner. (Trust me, I am talking from personal experience).

Tea + 2 slices of toast + fruit

The best breakfast for me is a grande wet latte with caramel syrup from Starbucks and a toasted panini with mushrooms, bacon and egg. It is really fattening though, and I am trying to cut down my calorie in take. From today I am having fruit for breakfast and lunch, but I am not looking forward to it very much, I miss bread already.

Coffee and biscuits (preferably chocolate ones) or mini-muffins. not healthy, but gives me the boost I need to make it out of the house and onto the train for work! I eat healthily the rest of the day though, so I can afford to treat myself in the morning -it makes waking up early more bearable!

Tea and Toast is all I ever have, what a waste of money it is when I go away for a week-end - Bed and Breakfast, and they don't give me a refund either.
