This my 2 1./2 year old's diet. We are vegetarians. From b'fast milk, oatmeal with soy milk , juice and some cheerios as snacks. Then for lunch rice, dal and all kinds of vegs cooked and mashed together with some salt and just a little spice to taste. then after her nap again some milk and fruits pureed [ i add badam powder to it ] may be a bite or two of whole wheat chapatti in the evening with curds while we are having dinner. then for her dinner again rice-dal-vegs mashed. Just make sure the diet includes as much as fresh fruits and vegs as possible and also good things like soy, nuts , cereal, almonds etc etc which help them to grow. I also give her egg once a week and legumes like green gram, black eyed peas, rajma etc at least twice a week. [i cook them with vegs and mash]

careful feedin the kids. They need Cereals and alot of vitamins n minerals in kind of this age. Especial vitamin E n D. Give them some vegetables. like tomotas, beans. Fruits like Banana's especial n apple or oranges. But they dnt like vegetable to eat now itself. So if i were you i wud by some cornflakes or kelloges. n lot of milk if they can already it by themselves. Or else go to the pharmacy n ask them. They will give you somehw cereals you need mix wit hot water or milk. they would be really happy if you bring them someting sweet.

make sure your child gets enough calcium and protein, since she is growing fast at her age. --> milk, yoghurt. make sure the products don't contain too much sugar, since she will develop her sense of taste for later.
