play-dough is usually just flour and salt with a little food coloring added. If the food coloring doesn't have a flavor, then all playdough tastes the same. Sometimes people make play dough out of kool-aid, so it has a fruity taste.

in my personal opinion, the green play dough tastes the best, a little minty. but if you really like unique flavors, try dropping it on the floor first. yum.........

It all tastes like salt. I have no idea how you could swallow it or why you were eating play doh after 5.
