Here's a mexican recipe, it's called PASTEL AZTECA= aztec cake, maybe this can help you, the ingredients are not difficult to get, it has the very traditional (and ancient) tortillas, the chiles.. because many other dishes would be hard to find all the stuff to prepare them
You can make too, some hot chocolate, it was a very valuable drink in Mexico before the conquest, it was very important, they even used the cocoa as money. If u can find the mexican chocolate tablets it's going to be better...
* 8 fried corn tortillas ( they should be soft)
*corn grains (could be from can or from cooked cob)
*poblano chiles in slices (to clean them put them directly to the heat on stove and then inside a closed ziploc bag, then take their peel of)
*slices of onion
* cooked shreded chicken
*chopped tomatoes and zuchinnis
*cream (could be sour or a thick one)
*cheese (the kind that melts, like emmental, monterrey jack, gouda even mozzarela)
You'll cook with some oil the vegetables and the chicken adding salt and pepper.
On a large pan/ cake pan you lay 4 tortillas and then add a part of the cooked mixture then add a little bit of cream on and some cheese then you lay the other 4 tortillas and add everything again, on the top you must put cheese and then cover the pan and heat it till cheese melts, or bake it.

1 cup dirt
1/2 tsp. ground oak bark
3/4 cup enemy meat
2 tbs. goat blood
4 willow leaves
1/2 cup sand
1 wad of spit
directions: mix all together and bake. let cool for 10 minutes and serve with fresh worms. Enjoy!

Hot chocolate. They ate it mixed with cornmeal and herbs and spices, which sounds disgusting, but you can give them regular hot chocolate, maybe with a little cinnamon in it for authentic flavor.
