no , your best bet is to cook it in the oven, it will still be good.
gas mark 6 or 7 should be fine. enjoy.

No A tagine will steam it. Tandoori chicken is cooked in an oven.
Itcan be also cooked in a gas or electric oven, but it will lose
most of its flavour. Also, the chicken has to be marinaded for
at least 6 hours, ideally 12 hours overnight.

Not really Tandoori is cooled in a deep clay oven, and quite high heat (dry) but you can do it (sort of) in an oven (hot) and a clay pot. Dry.
I would think that a tagine would dry out the meat too much

Cook it in an oven on high heat. Place chicken on a rack in a shallow pan so the heat can circulate all around the chicken.
