As far as I am aware you ca have this done on the national health.
If all else fails find the nearest dental teaching hospital and go there they will do it I am sure.
I
would certainly call another Dental practice and ask if they make a charge for this type of work

I know someone who just had it done. It probably needs to be done by a dental surgeon, unless it is a very simple extraction, in which case your regular dentist can perform the procedure. Follow the dentist's advice, but it is possible to have the extraction done under local anesthetic (it's safer that way). The pain after extraction should not be that severe, especially if you are prescribed Tylenol 3 or a similar painkiller. As for the cost, that will vary according to your location, but a single tooth extraction should not cost more than about $500 anywhere. If you have to have all four wisdom teeth extracted, it is best to remove two at a time (i.e., the left side in one procedure and the right side in the second procedure) because recovery is faster and easier, mainly because you can chew on one side of your mouth between procedures. It is normal to have to take a course of antibiotics before and sometimes after the procedure, to treat or prevent infections. The important thing is to find a good and reputable dental surgeon. Good luck and don't worry too much!

If your wisdom teeth are not the case of difficult impaction, have all four removed in one go. You can have soft diet for few days. You may go back to normal diet (still not hard) when you start feeling the healing is progressing well. Pick up the interesting educative details on website www.dentalcare-indiatour.com.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth (Yes, you can have 4) surgically removed at the same time. Believe it or not it did not hurt too bad after the 1st day. The procedure was $1,200; however, my insurance paid $1,000.

Do you have a Dental Hospital, where you live? If so go there, I think it is free, as it will be done by students, and they are always looking for patients.
They used to in Birmingham!
Hope this helps.
