The quote is true but I would like to add "and intelligent". Our military can not receive enough accolades, as far as I am concerned. Did anyone ever stop to think that they are doing this for the SURVIVAL OF OUR COUNTRY? Our country consists of the people, the GOVERNMENT, and our way of life. We all know that amongst these brave men & women, there are some that do not agree with some or many of the policies of the present administation. Yet, they put themselves in harms way for their COUNTRY knowing that things do not always go the way they want but as long as the COUNTRY survives, there is a chance things will change in their favor. THANK YOU!!!!-YOU MEN & WOMEN OF THE US MARINES, ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE AND COAST GUARD.

You're welcome. It's also been one day since my discharge from the military :..( I miss the camaraderie. My brothers and I (3 of us) had over 65 years of military service to this country. There are indeed, many great, and brave men in this country.
And as someone else stated remember the firefighters and police today.
God bless.

I agree that all service men and women deserve our thanks and gratitude.

And I want them redeployed from Iraq, which is demonstrably and admittedly unrelated to 9/11.

The brave among us are not only the brave soldiers fighting and dying, the brave firefighters and others who are still suffering from the physical and mental pain of 9/11; but also the brave patriots who are able to recognize that we need to redirect our focus to terrorism, not try and reshape the Iraq war into what it is not.

So please do not make the mistake of thinking that there is only one kind of bravery, one kind of patriot, on this day.

It is indeed a sad day for the globe, not just western countries.

Thanks to the service personnel fighting wherever you are. We appreciate your efforts on our behalf. Thank you too, to the first responders, firemen, policemen, paramedics, nurses, doctors, pastors, ministers, imams, rabbis, priests for giving us all comfort today and always.

The radical extremists of any religion , thank you too, for being the example none of us wants to expire to.

Good for you! Nice to see someone with "class" on here this morning instead of the usual morons with their tasteless jokes. Don't forget to keep firefighters in your thoughts today.

Very true statement...

I only wish that everyone that reads that statement would realize what it means and the consequences if they don't focus on the big picture of what is happening.
