My bowels seem to have stopped working. I have a full feeling in my stomach and I cannot go #2. I even took laxatives and still can't go. The last time I went #2 was about 5 days ago. BUT I was very, very sick. I had watery diarrhea and was actually vommitting diarrhea. I know that doesn't seem possible, but believe me it is and it's gross. I have done that maybe three different times. This last time I was projectile puking it up to 15 times a day for 2 days. I was sitting on the pot with a bucket in my hands for the other. I am kind of freaked out because I don't know what is wrong with me or if it's a big deal. I can't find 'vommiting feces' in any search. But I know it is real because I am doing it and my aunt saw it on TV after I told her about it. She searched on line and couldn't find anything. Then she turned on Discovery Health Channel and there it was! No diagnosis, but it showed it is possible. Does anyone have any ideas at all??????? And no, I'm not crazy...

I should have said I have been to a few doctors. No one knows what is wrong. I know something is wrong though, so I thought I'd check here to see if anyone else had heard of this.

KZ mentioned abdominal pain. Yes, I have acute abdominal pain. In fact (lol) that's why I am up right now. The pain woke me up. I haven't slept all night in like...wow...at least 10 days. I did have 'normal' stools before. Now it's so awful! For like 2 years it's been bad. I have been puking all the time and just sick. So I have gone to the doc and nothing. Now I think it's all come to a head and need to have something done right away. The most I ever got out of a doc was ONE said they were 'concerned' because they heard no bowel sounds. I did speak to someone after I posted this and they said it sounds like either a bowel obstruction or like my stomach or bowels aren't processing fast enough. I am always full. I hardly eat anything because it makes me feel like crap. Docs just gave me Rx to make me not throw up. I take way more than I should every day. But over the past week it hasn't helped. I have been puking my guts out anyway. And it's mostly been poop!

'vommiting feces' as you mentioned can occur in cases of prolonged bowel obstruction and severe constipation.. but you havent mentioned and abdominal pain.. which normaly accompanies this condition.
though its normal for some people to open bowels once a week or even 10 days, in you case if you are symptomatic , and used to pass stools regularly before this .. I would advise that you see a your doctor .. constipation of this extent is easily picked up on Xray of the abdomen.. hope this helps

You do need to see a specialist like a Gastroenterologist. But in the meanwhile, you need to take in lots of fluid like water and/or gateraid to help replenish the fluids your body is expelling. Keep off the solid foods for a few days and try soups and jello. It sounds like you might have some kind of stomach virus, but medical attention is needed.

I had something like that happened to me once a few years ago after going to work at the courts. I thought I caught something down there with all those people I ran into that day. The doctors didn't give me much of a diagnosis. I kept to the fluids for a few days and just rested and kept away from others. I didn't know if it was contagious, but I felt better after 5 days.

Good luck.

In my honest opinion I wouldn't have any idea what;s wrong with you either, but you should go to a local clinic or your family doctor. To me, this sounds like some kind of freak infection that bacteria, virus or yeasts(Candida) might've been the culprit. Whether you may believe it or not, but I've read from somewhere when your body's fighting an infection your digestive system is the first to suffer. Usually when you get some weird physical symptoms from out of nowhere like that, the cause may be simple. All in all, go to the doctor and see if you can get an abdominal ultrasound to see if everything's alright in your digestive tract. For future reference you might want to naturally cleanze your body.

Here these 3 sites might help in the long run!
