Low blood pressure is caused by several things. Obviously, low blood volume and that needs clinical investigation. We would need to check your hematocrit (the number of blood cells compared to the volume) and the hemoglobin and red blood cell count. We would also need a urinalysis to determine the specific gravity as the kidneys may be involved. There are also hormonal secretions that may reduce the pressure...adrenal glands are responsible for maintain pressure, and the thyroid gland may also be involved. Fixing it depends on the cause. The cause requires a physician. Some individuals tend to have a normal low blood pressure or others may develop postural hypotension.

I have low blood pressure also. But I have a medical condition called neurocardiogenic syncope. There is no fix. It causes dizziness, and seizures at times. It has something to do with the Vagus Nerve and the autoimmune system. I have had to go on disability. This is diagnosed by a tilt table test. There are medications that help but no cure. Talk to your doctor about NCS and other conditions with low blood pressure.

Everybody knows that IPL is a center of match fixing and corruption. So there should not be any shock by latest spot fixing scandal and Sreesanth or two other cricketers are not isolated case. What will you say about a big no ball by RP Singh or three catches dropped by Pollord in a row. Why, even in yesterday's match between Rajasthan and Hyderabad, players of Rajasthan did not go for run out appeal in a clear run out. IPL is all about vulgar money. We audience have our daily fix of cricket-entertainment. Not only there is spot fixing but also matches are scripted and it is pre decided which teams are going to play off round and which team is going to win the trophy.

I have low blood pressure, and I feel faint and dizzy. I went to a Doc for a work up, as I have a valve issues, but it is a very common one, and not to be scared, as it is common in mostly women, some men. They will put you on something like a Beta Blocker or other things similiar. But first thing first, go to your Primary to get those test done by them or go to a Cardiologist that will run tests to help you! Either High or Low, both can be serious issues. Seek help!

Nerve impulses from the medulla oblongata control the constriction and dilation of blood vessels. If the medulla is over active, it causes constriction which may cause high blood pressure and if it is under active it causes dilation and may cause low blood pressure. Stimulants that work on the medulla can raise blood pressure. Ephedra stimulates the medulla and raises blood pressure. It is probably the most effective herb for that.

you might be dehydrated. drinking more fluids can help. some people normally run low. every person has their own baseline which is normal for them. but if you are concerned you really should see a doctor. don't take chances.
