We have a lot of choices here in Hong Kong, but I don't know whether you have them in the menus there in your Country! Basically, stick to boiled / steamed / stir-fried dishes are healthy choices and you can always request them to reduce salt or soy sauce and put lesser oil in your food when you place your order.
Seafood :
Boiled shrimps (serve with chili soy sauce dipping)
Steamed Shanghainese hairly carbs (serve with red vinegar dipping)
Steamed Big Prawns with gralic and ginger (serve with soy sauce - optional)
Steamed fish (with soy sauce)
Steamed scallops with black bean sauce
Stir-fried fresh water shrimps
Stir-fried scallops with broccoli (ginger + garlic flavour)
Sauteed oyster, ginger & green onions with oyster sauce
Stir-fired squids and bean sprouts with shrimp paste flavour
Steamed eggs with fish slices
Meat:
Steamed grounded pork with minced water chestnut + minced mushroom (it looks like a hamburger)
Boiled beef slices + eoki mushroom in beef stock (serve with soy sauce dipping)
Stir-fried pork with onion and green bell pepper
Steamed eggs (ie. unsweeten custard pudding)
Steamed chicken (serve with ginger dipping)
Salt baked chicken (serve with hot sauce)
Vegetables:
Boiled choy sum or boy choy (any kind of vegetables) with oyster sauce dipping
Stir-fried assorted vegetables
Stewed mushroom with dried oysters and seaweed
Vegetables wanton
Soup:
Steamed whole wintermelon soup with crab meat, lotus seed, roasted duck meat, mushroom, dried scallops
Chicken and red dates long boiled soup

A sushi eating place if I wish well meals ready with care; a delicacy. A chinese language eating place if I wish kind and now not simply kind in a single component (sushi isn't fish, btw; it is vinegar/sugar ready rice). In so much US areas I've been to, sushi is sort of a ferrari, cautiously hand made while chinese language is extra like a creation SUV, however nonetheless quite well and certainly one of my favourite cuisines.

generally stir fried vegetables...chinese people are great and more than willing to accomodate any requests you have...but watch out...they will not add any salt or condiments to your food but they will not consider that the meat or chicken has been marinated in salt(s)..dunno why..it's just my observation.
