For me Atomic Jam at the Que club in Birmingham, an old church like theatre (i think)with amazing corridors and staircases, if you were not careful you could get lost. It had amazing acoustics and very steep seating around the top tier. After a few beers you could easily trip, a health and safety nightmare. When ever you took someone for the first time you could see their jaw drop at the sheer size of the place , sadly closed now.

Hacienda, tenth birthday party was the best night in a club, but my alltime favourite was a Thursday Psychedelic night called the Hangout in the late 80's. It was in the Bier Keller in Liverpool.

It all depends which night, which band, which DJ, which friends you go with...

But as a broad generalization, ill say The Shed in Northbridge, Perth, WA is my all-time fave.

Great band, great DJ, great crowd, great atmosphere, great layout, drinks not too expensive. I have NEVER had a bad night going there on a Friday.
