I have been a vegeterian for 2.5 years.

My mentor who used to be a health consultant and is vegeterian himself told me that as vegeterians, in order to eat healthy and get all the nutrients we need, we must:

- Eat 6 servings of 5 different colours of vegetables everyday because each colour group will give you more of a different sort of nutrient and would be beneficial to diff parts of your body. Eg, black foods like black beans, black sesames are good for your liver... white stuff are good for your lungs.. red like carrots and papayas are good for your digestive system..

- But in order to recieve full nutrients, you have to ensure that you do not use heat of more than 28 degrees to cook. If not you will lose most of the nutrienst so you can either dun cook it or use a thermometer when you cook.

Or, you have another choice which is the choice I took... you can take supplements to supplement your health.

I take this product called VPlus as recommended by my mentor. It is 100% natural and has all the nutrients that hte human body needs. So when you take VPlus, you dun have to worry so much about your diet cos you will get all the nutrients you need.

So because of this, my 14 month old baby who is vegeterian is also taking Vplus and he loves it;)

Also, VPlus contains Vitamin B12 which is rarely found in the vegeterian diet.

In addition, VPlus also:
- Increase your immunity against diseases
- Removes toxins and heavy metal from your body
- Increases your energy level so you feel vitalized at all times

If you would like to find out more about VPlus, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com

Try things that resemble the unhealthy food that you like, but substitute the things that are unhealthy for things that are. For example, you could have a burger, but make it a portabella mushroom burger. Those are VERY yummu. Instead of fattening dressing on the burger, spread mustard or ketchup on it. Instead of french fries bake a potato and smother it in ketchup. Or you could get packets of gravy from the store (make sure it isn't made of chicken fat), and pour it over a baked potato. All of those toppings are fat free. Another great tasting and VERY healthy side dish is a sweet potato or yam. They are high in nutrients and have a lot of vitamins, but no fat. They are VERY yummy, with a nice sweet taste :)

Try to eat one completely new recipe each week. Eventually you will have enough favorites to keep you healthy.

Try juices (carrot juice is yummy) and raw fruits. There must be something that will taste good to you.

Maybe you need to see a doctor to find out why your appetite is so poor; sometimes it is a sign of a treatable disease. It is not normal to "hardly eat."

why are you a vegan?? because you hate meat too???
there's a world of veggies out there. Try different types of onion. or exotic ones like bok choy.
and what about all the protein, dairy, bread and grains, and fruits you can have?? if you come across something new, just try it!

i thought the purpose in being a vegetarian was to eat
more healthy stuff. learn about nutrition and what you
need to be eating then eat that. you need to be as firm
with yourself about eating what you should as someone
who is fat. if your body isn't already showing the signs
of improper diet it will soon so get with the program and
stick with it.
