I think I feel like every other normal person, except I don't eat meat! And it's very nice, thank you!

I stopped eating meat over 20 years ago - went off pork first, then lamb, then beef, then chicken and then fish. I have no moral argument, I just didn't like the taste and the smell (plus, as a student, vegetables etc were cheaper than meat).

I eat extremely well - lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, and plenty of protein (lentils, cheese, meat alternatives) etc. I have a well balanced, healthy diet. I'm 5'8" and weigh 10 stone. I feel great and my skin and hair are healthy. My hubby has also been veggie for years (before I met him!) and we're bringing our 2 children (3 and a half and 22 months) up as veggies too.

We don't make an issue out of it - it seems to be meat eaters who do that. People can eat what they want - I don't care. It's just that I choose to eat in this way, but carnivores don't seem to be able to accept that and feel that we must be missing out on something - I don't understand that!

It's a healthy, simple, delicious way to eat and I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

I have been a veggie since I was about 5 so I am used to not eating meat.. don't know what I am missing so it doesn't bother me.

I feel fine being a veggie.. hasn't hampered me in any way!

I do get quite annoyed sometimes when I go out and there is not much on the menu for a veggie. Either that or every dish has musrooms in it assuming that all veggies like mushrooms. They look at me all weird when I say I don't. Some meat eaters don't like mushrooms so why can't I?!?! grr.. ok rant over!

it feels great. i became a veggie when i was 10 on my own(except that year i had a vegan teacher). its great , i help reduce global warming, energy thats used to transport meat is now used for more important things, its healthier for u ( that is if u dont become a junk food aholic or carbaholic), and u save animals. now i'm not gonna lie, there are bad parts that i will tell u about- since i live in southern texas(a stupid place where a lot of ranchers live and ower field trips r to see pigs being branded) when i became a veggie every1 called me a tree hugging hippie, even my best friends didnt support me- i was the only veggie in our town!every time tree hugger came up in class every1 not so quietly coughed "my name(my name is pretty uniqu so i dont want ot post it over the internet)" every1 started saying "omg does she look hippie or wat!" when i was frekin wearing an areopostial tee shirt whith jeans!my reputation dropped.but i held through. then every1 was exclaiming that i wasnt a REAL veggie-i still eat fish. now that i'm 13 the hippie jokes r extinct and i now relize it doesnt matter wat other people think of u just stay strong. now i'm i friend to all and my email address book might seem like a zoo of differnt people. since i'm more confidant than befor i'm more popular than i have ever been (i'm not top dog though cause i'm not real cliqu-y) being a veggie has been 1 of of my fav. and best experinces yet. it all turn out ok

First thing's first- wouldn't it be better to ask her straight up? Also why would it be any different to anything else? I'm a vegetarian- been so as long as i've lived but i don't know how else i'd feel because this is normal to me.

I feel great. I know I feel healthier, no animals are being harmed or mistreated. I wouldn't want my cat to feel pain so what makes any other animal different?

I know what is good for me and what is not. In this day and age there is so much obesity. There is the ick-factor when it comes to vegetables but when you find out what you like and do not like it's great.

feels good, not only its healthy u also will not taste the flesh of another living thing. why do animals need to spill blood in other to fullfill or needs? because we are superior? indeed we are, but animal cruelty is barbaric. well thats from my point of view.

people say that vegetarians lack protein etc.. lol. what? cuz theyre jealous? lol, ever heard of alternatives? alternatives like tofu, kidney beans gives protein too.

i've been a vegi for just over 2 years now( well i still eat fish don't know what the term is). It feels great, i did it at first to gain browny points with my boyfreind!! but now i wouldn't look back. as long as you balance your diet correctly you should be fine. but go see your doctor if your gonna go vegi. I've lost 2 stone and i feel at my most healthly. it's not easy at first but you get used to it, just keep at it and take your vitamins everyday(trust me they help). sorry about the long winded vegi rant!! but hope this answered your question.

its a great feeling

i love being a vegetarian

i am glad i havent got chunks of dead animals on my plate.

animals who suffered a great great deal to get there!

and i am glad that i am not buying meat and thus not funding for meat that inturn encourages meat producers to slaughter more animals.

i feel completely healthy and feel i have a balanced diet and dont have to worry that i have eaten too much fat or whatever :-)
