im 67 was just told i have diabetes..could it be from that?

Please take an Electrocardiogram (ECG) and consult a Cardiologist. It may be an heart murmur. Some murmurs are the indication of a serious problem of the heart, such as defective heart valve, aneurysm(balooning/dilatation) of the aorta, etc. For more details on Heart murmurs, please see the webpages given below. Since you are a diabetic, it is better that you should check the function of the heart now itself.

it could be a heart murmur. You need to get that looked after. Just incase its coming from your lungs and you have pnemonia or something else. Its hard to say.
You should get it looked after by your doctor

um no that has nothing to do with diabeties, u probably have a problem with ur heart go and see ur doctor
