Here is a video that works for almost all of our dis-eases...

This five minute documentary is about a group of people with diabetes that changed their diet for 30 days and are NO longer diabetic. They're also making a longer documentary with Woody Harrelson, which should be out very soon. The good news is that this type of diet prevents and reverses almost every disease known to man. So watch this video and tell everyone you know about it, so we can put an end to all of this needless suffering!!!

Some Diabetes can be cured, at least to the point that you don't have to worry about it as much. Type 2 diabetes occurs when a person gains alot of weight, for instance. If that person normalizes their weight and eats healthier, they will most likely normalize their blood sugar levels to the point that medication is no longer necessary. However, they still need to monitor themselves regularly to make sure they don't have further problems. It is not a definite CURE, but it is the closest thing to it.

From what I understand, Type II deals a lot with glucose intolerance and the body does not use the insulin efficiently or produce enough. Diet, excercise, and medication will typically allow most Type II diabetics to lead a normal lifestyle.
Type I diabetes is mostly genetic. Something goes haywire with the immune system and it attacks its own beta cells in the pancreas, thereby halting the natural producton of insulin. This is why Type I diabetics require an alternate source of insulin (injections or pump). There are several promising leads on this front, but none are far enough along to be called a cure with certainty. I believe stem cell research has some great possibilities, since it will replenish one's own beta cells with native cells made of the same DNA, thereby eliminating rejection. However, the cause of beta cell destruction would have to be addressed or occasional replenishment will be required. Some say if you can remove the cause of the beta cell destruction (genetic reprogramming?), the body itself will regenerate beta cells unhindered.

For type I and type II diabetics (and those who are overweight and could potentially become diabetic). Copy and bookmark the webpages I‘ve listed below… they are invaluable for those with diabetes and/or weight problems...
I've found a wonderful book that will help you control your diabetes and minimize or even eliminate the complications. Some folks who became diabetic due to poor diet and obesity are effectively cured by following the advice in this book. I'm a type II (inherited), but it helps all types, especially those who became diabetic due to poor eating habits. It's by an author who has really done his homework, Patrick Quillin, Phd. It's called, "The Diabetes Improvement Program". I have tried his suggestions and found them to be very helpful. I have no complications whatsoever and my blood sugar levels are quite stable. Yes, I still have to take Metformin (Glucophage) daily, but it's the minimum dosage (500mg) and I only have to take it twice a day. I have been off Metformin for as much as a week, but this was with vigorous exercise. Many, what I call, non-hereditary type IIs (those that don't have a close relative who had it) have gotten off medication completely, just with diet, exercise, and supplements. So, in some instances, it most certainly can be 'effectively' cured. Read more about it here:
http://www.diabetesimprovement.com/
The book explains what's going on in our system and what to do about it. It's really easy and inexpensive. It's basically diet, supplements, and exercise. For example, did you know that cinnamon helps blood sugar absorption? It also controls cholesterol and triglycerides. This is according to the USDA:

For men: Are you suffering from erectile dysfunction? I was. Yes, WAS. Now that everything's under control, I'm able to have nearly normal sex again. I've also put together a little webpage highlighting some of the things I've learned here:

There is a cure for diabetes but if they brought out the cure then the gov. would lose so much money with tests strips and insulin and everything else that you have to pay for to maintain your diabetes. Think about it... people spend a lot in a life time with diabetes.... the gov makes tons of money off it.
There is a cure my friend. Someone will be brave enough to tell the world, its just a matter of time.

I think there is a cure for diabetes, or could be, but look at all the money people are making off of it!
No way are they going to find a cure and lose all that money.
If I sound bitter, I am.
I lost my husband to that awful, wicked, disease.
On the bright side, there is a cure of sorts for type2. It is called exercise, and proper diet..although what constitutes a proper diet nowadays is confusing.
To low carb or not to low carb, that is the question :)

oh it's incredible how many idiots will answer a question they have no idea about. diabetes is caused by beta cells producing no insulin or not enough insulin, in order to cure it they have to find a way to replace the beta cells, stem cell research is probably the best and closest research to a cure, but it will still take a while to find one.
