Some of the New Guinea cannibals would only eat from the enemies that they killed. Some say it was a point of vengence. Some say it was a matter of respect as in making that which was strong in my enemy strong in me. Not exactly logical, in that if you killed him, you were the stronger of the two, but then many old customs aren't anyway. About the only thing close to being selective, say for just vegetarians, is the Hannibal Lector sort and those are mostly fictional.
In those places where starvation cannibalism happens, the people are so crazed for the lack of food that they usually eat those who have died already and probably weren't asking much about this body or that.

Yes, but I've heard the aftertaste sucks and they give you gas. Cannibals use a lot of Beano when eating vegetarians.

im not a cannibal but i have ate quite a few ladies, i dont think they were vegetarians though because they sure seemed to like the meat i gave them.

properly a vegetarian might want to have a lot less protein yet might want to be more desirable uncomplicated to digest........ so i'm particular he might want to eat the vegetarian and he'd probably wash them down with an outstanding red wine.
