If you can keep one chopping board and 2 pans out then you could make a large pan of chilli and rice for them. Eat it off paper plates= no crockery
Good luck with the move :)

You can get rotisserie chicken already cooked at any supermarket. Add a few sides such as potato salad, etc., great rolls, don't forget the drinks and a party is born.

Make Spaghetti Bolognese or Spaghetti Carbonara.
They both taste good, not expensive, easy to make and you need maximum 30 mins to have them done.
If you like juicy tomato taste, then you should make the bolognese. But if you like creamy taste, then you should make the carbonara.

SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE

1 lb. ground beef
1 (15 oz.) can whole tomatoes, blend it with blender
2 tbs tomato paste
2 med. onions
2 tsp. ready to use oregano
2 tsp. ready to use basil
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup heavy cream
Fresh ground pepper to taste
Salt to taste
1/2 c. olive oil
1 lb. spaghetti
Parmesan cheese, grated
Extra virgin olive oil
2 tbs butter (for spaghetti)

Peel and chop onions. Put large skillet on burner and heat olive oil on medium high setting. Add onions, fry for 5 minutes or until onions turn clear.

Then add ground beef. Fry until browned and break apart into small clumps. Add blended whole tomatoes. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, bay leaf, heavy cream, salt and pepper. Mix ingredients well. Cover skillet and turn heat down to simmer. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Add spaghetti, a little at a time. Stir and add extra virgin olive oil to avoid sticking. Cook for 10 minutes or until just cooked through (no hard white center). Drain and add 2 tbs butter to avoid sticking, mix well.

Remove sauce from stove. Put the spaghetti in a large plate, pour sauce on it, and grated parmesan on top. Serve.

SPAGHETTI CARBONARA

1 1/2 to 2 c. fresh grated parmesan cheese
6 to 8 slices bacon
2 cups heavy cream
1 med. onions
1 egg, beat in together with heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
1 pack spaghetti

First cook the spaghetti like in the 1st recipe above. And you can make the sauce while waiting for the spaghetti til it's done.

Mix the heavy cream-egg mixture with parmesan cheese in a bowl. Set aside.
Saute bacon until crisp. Set aside.

Peel and chop onions. Put large skillet on burner and heat olive oil on medium high setting. Add onions, fry for 5 minutes or until onions turn clear.

Put the spaghetti and the bacon in. Then add the heavy cream-egg.parmesan cheese mixture. Mix well until all is cooked. Remove from heat, and serve.

NOTE: You can use any other kind of pastas. They taste the same.

Happy cooking! ;-)

hamburgers or hotdogs are quick and easy, or put a roast in the oven early in the am on 200, covered and it will be ready later in the day.
