females between the ages of 30 and onwards that have type 2 diabetes.would you mind sharing your stories on what age you got diabetes, what you do to help it and what medication if any are you presently taking???
also are there any of you that are having a rough time with diabetes and what age are you..sufferers of eyes ,kidneys, and feet..please tell me more about your condition...........

Hello, I am 37 years old. I do have diabetes and have had it for 13 years. My youngest is 13. I have 4 children and had gestational diabetes with the 2 middle kids. Then when I was pregnaunt with my youngest, I had gestational diabetes the whole time I was pregnant. I even had to stay in the hospital for almost 3 weeks learning about diabetes and how to give myself injections. I did everything that I was supposed to do to keep my diabetes under control. When my youngest was born, I was told that in a few years I could have full blown diabetes. My daughter was 2 months old and I was very sick. I was put in the hospital and then told I had diabetes. During the next few years it was like a roller coaster with diabetes. I was sick all of the time and in the hopital a lot. I had 2 diabetic comas during this time also. While I was in the hospital recovering from the last comma, I learned about an insulin pump. I received my pump a few weeks after I was out of the hospital. I was told that this was the way life would be for the rest of my life, wearing an insulin pump. I did wear this pump for 7 years. The doctors said you can never get off the pump. That if I didn't have the pump, I could die. My insulin pump gave me lots of trouble too. The alarm would go off a lot, there was always something wrong each week. I was wondering if I would die while wearing the pump that was supposed to save my life. So, one day I filled out a health survey online. A few days later, a man called and talked to my husband about supplements that may in fact help my diabetes. He said that my quality of life may be greatly improved.
