Iquitos, Peru (and many places in South America)
After 6 long days on a boat on the Amazon river eating crackers and apples I arrived in Iquitos, Peru to find the pizza pre-prepared with meat, soups with meat, etc. When I asked politely if there was anything without meat, I was offered a hot dog. When I explained that I didn't eat ANY type of meat, she shook her head and looked at me with a bewildered expression and said "no, no hay" which means no there is not.....it doesn't exist there. (this was about 6 years ago, so maybe times have changed)

Buffalo, Ny
Home of the Roast Beef on Weck with a dill pickle
Chicken wings (slight concession for the celery or carrot sticks)
Fish Fry never served with anything green
Pizza - if you do not count the sauce
We will not only meat you to death but also clog those arteries with deep fried foods.

It´s hard to be a vegetarian in Mexico, especially at parties where the main dish is always sheep or pork meat and no vegetables are served except for salsa.

Most anywhere in the South. I'm from North Carolina, and people eat nothing but fried chicken and pork here. But we are starting to get some pretty good stores with veggie fare.

probably any small town or place in the country where there aren't any good restaurants so your choices are very limited. Any medium or big city should be ok since you'll have plenty of choices.
