♡The best thing to do is offer a variety of snacks from fresh fruit, chocolate, biscuits... Whatever YOU usually have there. You don't have to get anything special. It's a good chance for the exchange student to try new things and find their favorite Aussie snack while at it! (*^o^*) If you mean light meal snacks, try different bread, soups, fruits, veggies...whatever is your custom. ~♡And may I add how very kind of you to ask for lots of suggestions! Your exchange student is lucky to be with such a considerate host!♡~

Everyone I know who's had an exchange student says they always go crazy over peanut butter. They're not like puppies or something; they can eat whatever, as long as there's no food allergies or the person isn't vegetarian. Make sure you ask about those!

I have hosted several exchange students. Many Asian students like fresh fruits as snacks. Many Japanese enjoy rice crackers, nuts, cookies, whatever. Most exchange students are extremely interested in trying YOUR favorite snacks. Talk with him or her and learn what he or she likes.
