I have had this for the past few days and its buggin me-I have had an awful sore throat that comes and goes(do ya know what i mean? sometimes its really bad and sometimes i barely notice it), headaches, ichy throat and mouth(really itchy), a bad productive cough, and weirdest of all some dark red dots on the roof of my mouth. Sometimes I lose my voice for a while.
I feel GREAT-otherwise-I have energy and I am happy its just a wierd inconvincence. I don't "feel" sick I just have these symtoms.
Any ideas what this is?
I want to still dance(likr i said I feel fine) but I sound like I am @ death's door rasping-advice please!
Its getting on my nerves!

Did it ever occure to you to see a doctor? Doctor's are trained to cure this sort of thing. There are independent clinics all over that are cheap for an office visit and a little more for meds.
You probably have either Strep, which left alone, spreads to your heart valves and can kill you.
Mono is another possibility. Complications of that are an enlarged spleen and liver which if you have that and fall or are hit hard, can rupture.
You need to see a doctor.

Without prescribed medication then I can tell you that the following work really well. Either or both together - take one clove of fresh garlic and chop it in to as small a bits you can. If you are brave then chew it up and swallow the bits - if it burns too much then a sip or two of milk will take the burn away. A good big spoon of honey. Manuka for choice but any real honey will do. Just put the whole lot in the mouth and let it melt slowly down the throat. Take warm water if you want but NOT with the honey. If you heat honey in any way you destroy the working part of it.. If you want to try eating the hard form of liquorice then that's good for coughs - as is anis. Both the garlic and the honey will kill bugs. The honey opens the nasal passageways and eases the sore throat. Both will help if you get a cough.

Icky! Sounds like you've got a bad cold! It could also be strep throat. I'd check with your doctor just to be safe.

My sister gets these little red blistery things on her throat and mouth when she gets sick; but it's never strep, so who knows.

Just call your doc, and lay low for a while!

Feel better soon!!

Sounds like you could have a number of things wrong. Anything from Strep Throat or an even more serious condition of Oral Herpes. I would check with a doctor as soon as possible because either of these are very serious and left untreated can cause major health risks to yourself and others. Both are contagious...
A very good site to check all of your symptoms is:

Good luck!

You need to see a doctor. Sounds like you have strep throat (which is indicated by the dots on your throat). The only thing to cure this is to get on antibiotics. Go see your doc asap!

In support of your sore throat, add little salt in hot water and gargle thrice a day. Also, add 5 black pepper corns, 2 cloves whole, a small piece of cinnamon stick, a small piece of ginger, 7 basil leaves and put them together in 200 ml water to boil. Drink hot like soup thrice a day until you feel better. Chew a piece of clove after each meal. In case of severe sore throat, take one tablet of Erythromycin/500mg twice a day for 5 days to get complete relief.
