My cousin had been having severe pains she went to the ER and they told her that it was her appenditics and would have to have surgery. When the surgeon open her up, there was nothing wrong with her appenditics, so they looked around, with a small camera. Found out she has a blood clot in the back of her heart. I have forgotten what they called it, but it is inherited. They have her in a coma state, she has a cathered and everyhting, cannot move, they siad it is very life threating, and have talked about flying her to another hospital in Nashville, Tn.
My question is, I am 24 and having some of the same systoms as she did, except I have been told that my pain was just cyst on my ovaries. But I was born with some heart problems, VSD, Mumumur, and mitro-valve prolasp. They doctor siad if my pain isnt better by friday to call her and she was going to set up an appointment to have lapascopic surgery. I am really scared, if you were me would you have the surgery, or not?

Well to tell you I've seen this plenty of times in small carreer. Doctors get something called tunnel vision, and aren't open to any other suggestions. What you definenitley need to do is touch base with a cardiologist! Like now! Being born with a VSD and MVP you should be evaluated about once or twice a year. With severe Mitral valve prolapse along with ventricular septal defect there is definetely potential if not a high probability for you to develop an clot or embolus, even if you are in excellent shape!!! So the first step is that you need to get at least an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) and touch base with a cardiologist!!! Let me know what you decide and I can help guide ya.

You are so young, Im sorry to hear you are not feeling well. You need to follow your doctors advice.
Remove what can be removed to help you live.
Blood clots don't just form on there own you have to be eating all the wrong foods making your blood fatty & thick and sticky or have very bad family genes before it will get a clot.
You can thin your blood by eating better mostly the dark leafty veggies and drinking fresh clear liquids.
Almost every lady I know has or had cyst of the ovaries my turned to cancer when I was 20 and I has a hyserectiomy after that I have had diabetes, heart failure, blindness and now on dialysis You have to sometimes fight with all you have just to stay alive. I know Iam a surivor.

Hey! Im 21 and due in July too. I dont recognize why your midwife is telling you to write down a beginning plan. Especially so quickly. Although I have not ever had a youngster earlier than I have watched plenty of beginning indicates. I am obsessive about the exhibit One Born Every Minute on Lifetime. You can watch that exhibit and get a believe for the entire exceptional suffering medications and spot how exertions results every person another way. Just seeing that it used to be terrible in your mother, doesn't suggest it'll be for you too. Just seeing that you are saying that you just wish to have fuel and air now for your beginning plan doesn't suggest that you just ought to whilst you're truthfully giving beginning. Even should you say that you just wish a common beginning you'll difference your brain for the duration of supply and ask for an epidural. Or visa versa. So dont believe harassed into making a choice on one now and sticking to it. Most females difference their minds on supply day. Most females who I recognize who have got epidurals have mentioned that they couldnt believe something no longer even the urge to push. So whilst it comes time for me to push my little one out, suppose me Im getting an epidural.

Yes, I would have the surgery.

Sometimes, blood work and symptoms are not enough, or they are closely related with several different diseases. This is the 100% effective way to find out your problem.

Here is a link that gives you more info about the surgery:

Have it taken care of, Lady. It would be far better than what your cousin is enduring. As young as you are, if you have no other health problems, you should be able to bounce right back!

Good luck!
